One trend that has been big this upcoming Spring season has been the feminine classy pleats in the skirts and dresses of designers.

The pleats look especially fluttery on dresses and long skirts.

So, it’s no wonder that celebrities have taken to this trend on red carpet ready dresses!

Dancing with the Stars judge, Carrie Ann Inaba wore a sweet pleated navy blue dress by Nikolaki to the 2010 Grammy Awards.

Here is Haute Generation’s look-a-like:

Or how about in red?

Actress Katherin Heigl wore a luscious red pleat dress by David Meester to a red carpet event for her new movie Life As We Know It.

There is no doubt that animal print is this season’s obsession.

As Fashion Week comes to a close in Paris, even on the runways across the globe, we see the prints pawing around on the fabulous runways of our favorite designers:

Burberry Prorsum’s Spring 2011 Ready to Wear collection used this blue animal print dress and paired it with a sharp leather jacket to give an edgy night time look to the fierce dress.

But my favorite collection of animal prints has to be from Blumarine. The use of pastels mixed with animal print is not an easy feat. The models shut the house down with these fabulous designs:

In a dreamy blue:

Haute Generation has the perfect Homecoming dress for you in a look-a-like animal print dress that will have you standing out from the crowd of sequins and satin:

You can have the look of the runways in Europe and bring it to your dance to wow the crowds with your sharp fashion and decadent sense of style.

With Homecoming on the horizon, the hunt is on for the perfect dress to accompany you to your magical return to the school dance floor.

One look that never gets old is the coveted Little Black Dress.

First off, you can never go wrong with black.
Second, it’s simple, sleek and sexy.
No doubt.

But this year, fashionistas have been turning to a new twist to your classic LBD, and are donning a more eye-catching sparkly version of your favorite LBD:

How can we say no to something that looks that good?

There’s no doubt Hollywood has taken to the sparkly black little numbers:

But now, so can you.

Even though our weather is not cooperating, technically, it is Fall.

What are your favorite Fall items you’re itching to wear?

My Fall must-have that is impatiently waiting to see beyond my closet doors, is my collection of blazers.
There is something about the clean cut lines and the structure of the blazer that I love.

Ladies, it’s time to consider the versatility of the fitted blazer that is now being debuted on runways and streets in a glorious array of colors that makes you think, “I need one in every color!”

One of my favorite bold colors: cobalt blue!

This Spring’s 2011 Ready to Wear lines all debuted beautiful white blazers that would look gorgeous atop a skirt or dress.

So even after buying a formal dress or gown, you can still be fashion forward till the very end of the night!
